Help & FAQ

Does WutDrop enable Twitch Drops?

No. WutDrop shares campaign information. You still need to enable Drops in Twitch and satisfy the publisher’s channel and account requirements.

Does it work with every game?

WutDrop uses the chatbot messages provided by twitchdrops.app. Games without a usable response show as unavailable. If a source URL differs from the Twitch game name, set a source game override.

What permissions does WutDrop request?

Streamers grant channel:bot so WutDrop can receive chat events and send messages as its own bot account. It does not request moderation, payment, email, or subscription-history permissions.

What happens when I switch games?

WutDrop refreshes your current Twitch category and fetches the matching source message. A manual override takes priority until you disable it.

Can I change !drops and the reminder message?

Yes. You can change the command, text sections, variable order, cooldown, and no-Drops response. Reminders use their own template and schedule.

How fresh is the message?

Messages are refreshed every 15 minutes and stop being used after the configured freshness limit, normally one hour. WutDrop relies on the source for reward dates and does not independently verify campaign expiration or channel eligibility.

Can it automatically claim rewards for viewers?

No. Viewers must meet Twitch and publisher requirements and claim rewards themselves.

Is it free?

Yes. WutDrop is free to use.

How do I disconnect?

Open Account in the dashboard. Disconnect stops the bot immediately and queues removal of EventSub subscriptions and revocation of your token. Account deletion also removes your stored configuration.
